ANALYSIS: Harder To Dismantle GOP Prez Than Democrat
by marco Tuesday, Jan. 07, 2003 at 8:57 AM

Here's a quick Woodward and Bernsteinian analysis of the problem trying to take Bush down, and some suggestions how to solve that.

George Bush has clearly shown he's a psychopath.
Proving this will not tear his administration down.

I repeat:

Proving this will not tear his administration down.

Proof came easy. Using that to show he should step down will be
next to impossible.
Unfortunately, the US has seen time and time again that what's
fair game for a Republican or an "other" to do to a Democrat,
is somehow wrong for a Democrat or an other to pull off against
a Republican. So, he's corrupt. So he's psychotic. So, his IQ
doesn't even allow him to pronounce the word properly. So he's
manipulative and opportunistic. He's a Republican politician.
You can't touch that.

Proving (or trying to prove) that Bush blew up the World Trade
Center (with thermite or his bare hands or his mind) will never
tear his administration down. First off no one can get their brain
around something like that. If it's true, there's too good of a
chance it will take 47 years to prove it. Look how long it took
to prove Martin Luther King Junior was killed in a CIA, FBI, GE,
Sikorski and Bradley Foundation conspiracy. You think it's going
to be any quicker proving that Bush worked dircectly with Bin
Laden's family on terrorism in New York and DC?
Proving that Bush is actively imbibing in Cocaine or Heroin use
right this very moment does nothing for us either. No one seems to
care. And much worse, if it looks like someone is close to proving
it, Bush will just finally come out for the timeframe whatever that
day was he "USED TO SNORT COCAINE UP HIS SNOTTY BRAIN-DEAD NOSE."
He will come out with Pentagon fanfare and they will do a big hoopla
dance around spin control and show how cocaine really isn't such a
bad thing, just as long as it's not crack, or freebased and as long
as he's not part black. They will spin you like a red, white and blue
top and you'll be going "drats, foiled again."
No, proving he's a coke addict doesn't matter for some reason.
We probably can't get our brains around that either.
I'll just show one more. Proving that he raped a woman last year,
a decade ago, or even last night will not do a thing to George Bush.
He will once again, spin not only that, but the old Clintonian
transgressions will be waved around like a dirty sock over and over
until we all just shut up. Hell, even if he did rape a 14 year old
girl, or hell, a 14 year old boy for that matter. How's the quickest
easiest way to overcome that?
Ted Nugent could come along as an expert witness. That man has
ruined more childrens' sexualities in Hotels all over the world
than every politician combined. Yes, even Clarence Thomas can't
light a candle next to Ted Nugent. A character reference from
"the nuge" would get Bush some serious mileage. Yeah, so what
if he's a bit of a dirty old man. So what if he raped a woman
when she was 17, paid her to have an abortion and killed every
new boyfriend she had for 20 years.
No. These things can't take down a Republican. They're too big.
You have to use something simple. Subtle. More meager.
Here are three suggestions.

1) Prove he has smoked marijuana.

2) Prove he hired someone undocumented.

3) Prove he bought something with a foodstamp
that should have been purchased with cash.

Any one of these, will climb higher/faster than a "smoking gun."
He will be marked and ruined for life in modern american society.
Prove that George W Bush did any one or more of the above and
he will resign faster than you can say, "George W Bush is a
pro police state racist bastard who ought to be hung by his
thumbs but it's some kind of miracle he even has thumbs."

So get out there and research the mundane, people. Look up
little things from the New York Times microfiche from like
the early 70s. Late 70s maybe. Find out if his oil companies
or football teams ever did something harmful to the economy
like under the table jobs, or handing a construction worker
a bag of grass instead of $20 for overtime.

That'll fix em
