CAN'T GO TO DC? JOIN SOAW WITH A MESSAGE!

As many of you are well aware, March 27th-30th is the national lobby day for the School of the Americas Watch.

The School of the Americas (SOA) is the notorious combat training school located at Fort Benning, Georgia. Graduates of the School have gone on to commit some of the worst human rights abuses in Latin America, including the torture and murder of four American church women, the murder of six Jesuits, their housekeeper and her fifteen year old daughter, and the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero...and that's in El Salvador alone.

Now the time has come for coordinated action. We need you to call, fax or write your local legislators to say: NOT IN OUR NAME! NOT WITH OUR TAX MONEY! Co-sign House Resolution 1258, legislation to close the SOA for good!

We are expecting Hr 1258 to come up for a vote later this year...we need your support more than ever! Help stop the murder of innocent people!
