Just two days before Christmas Santa makes a guest appearance at the protest to present his list of which restaurants have been naughty and nice to animals. Foie gras is duck or goose liver that has been fattened through an unusually cruel forcefeeding process and served as a gourmet appetizer. The U.K., Switzerland, Israel, and Poland have all banned foie gras production due to its inherent cruelty. The California State legislature (with the recent passage of SB 1520) is the latest to pass a law against the sale and production of foie gras throughout the state.
