An Appeal for Redress from the War in Iraq

Many active duty, reserve, and guard service members are concerned about the war in Iraq and support the withdrawal of U.S. troops. The Appeal for Redress provides a way in which individual service members can appeal to their Congressional Representative and US Senators to urge an end to the U.S. military occupation. The Appeal messages will be delivered to members of Congress at the time of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in January 2007.

To read and sign the appeal go to http://www.appealforredress.org.

by Damon Murphy | Dec 13 2006 - 1:06pm

Project For New American Values General Progress Report - The website has just been put up, http://www.ivawdeployed.org. We are working to post a detailed calendar of our events. I will also continue to e-mail the updated schedules to our supporters. This is a general progress report. We will still make the San Diego event on January 20, and will hold a solidarity rally in the Fort Lewis area for the January 27th rally in D.C. If anyone wants to have us speak during the encampment, we made need the hosts to provide a bus, train, or plane ticket. We will post a general schedule of the tour back down south shortly, as well as all of the finer details of the events leading up to LT Watada's Solidarity Camp. Thank you all for your support.... read more of this post

One Soldier's Musings

The Death of a Pro-War Conservative -or- The Day I got Away with Murder Vividly I remember the 15th of May, 2004. It had been business as usual and we were heading home from FOB Warhorse in Baquba. By "home" I mean FOB Normandy in the small town of Muqdadiyah, and by "we" I mean Support Platoon, 2-2 Infantry. Ramrods!
