Los Angeles, CA.-- Noted singer and pianist Tori Amos has released a brand new single to protest U.S. actions in Iraq. The single, "White Man in the White House" is a seething indictment of the Bush administration, the war in Iraq--and men in general.
"It was time for me to express myself," said Amos in a recent radio interview. "Every time I see a missile on the news I'm reminded how phallic they appear and how men build giant penis weapons that will eventually violate all of us."
The single, which will be released Tuesday, is a new musical adventure for Amos, and highlights her distinctive vocal style. Amos expects controversy when her new tune hits the airwaves but she's sure that her fans will support her and her views.

Where did you hear this news? I went to almost all the main Tori sites and none of them mentioned a new song. I also tried to go to the link at the end of your message and its not a site.

If Tori wants to talk about violation, how about discussing the 1 million Kurds, women, and children Sadaam has killed? Do these people have the opportunity to "go against the President"? As much as I like her music, she sounds like just another bluthering ill-informed star jumping on the bandwagon.
Ill-informed? Perhaps you should get a history book.

Unfortunately, you have the same ingnorant bias as most in America. Want to talk about suffering? How about the international terrorism that the United States has been carrying out for decades. We are, after all, the only country that has been condemned by the World Court for international terrorism (but you wouldn't see that in the corporate media). Or how about America supporting ruthless dictators, including Saddam even while he was carrying out some of his worst atrocities, until they no longer serve our interest. Then again we could talk about the fact that America not only funded, but also sold the weapons to Saddam. And the sanction in Iraq that has been instrumental in weakening the Iraqi people while strengthening Saddam. Killing millions of people (including hundreds of thousands of children) from starvation. Perhaps you may want to become educated on the issues before attacking others who already are.

Heather is right. Also, read about the "great"things we did to Guatemala, Libya, and other latin american and third world countries. I am so sick of the majority of the people who are spoonfed their information and then condemn others and say that thye are uninformed.
I would also like to point out that artists are not jumping on any bandwagon when they condemn the war in Iraq. The dixie chicks are losing alot of fans because of what they said about Bush. That doesn't seem to be jumping on any bandwagon!!!!!!!
Corporate media?

What exactly is "corporate media"? I've never heard of it. I guess it's anything that a person holding a responsible job reads.
As for terrorism, I believe that most people, rightly so, equate it with the purposeful killing of innocent people (not armed forces) for a political or religious purpose. The United States has never done that and please don't try to equate accidental injuries to Iraqi children with terrorism.
What was the World Court holding? Interesting that I've never heard of that in ANY media. You are so full of it.
Funny how you rally weenies pick facts out of a hat and then throw them at people with absolutely no backup at all. Another lesson learned from Bill Clinton no doubt.
i hate bill clinton

I didn't learn anything from Bill Clinton. I hate Bill Clinton. And I do hold a responsible job, maybe more responsible than yours....

Rally Geeks of the world, Unite! You have absolutely nothing to contribute, except extradevisiveness and ununity!
Heather, you are seeking to do what you criticize...and rewrite history. Terrorist is a moral-reletavist definition..isn't that what you anti-American sellouts preach? So the World Court "condemning" the US means shit to real Americans, unlike you anti-American "fifth-columnists" who seek to undermine the security of the United States.
Any country that habours perpetrators of harm against the United States has two choices: 1) co-operate in finding said perps for elimination or capture or 2) face military action in order for the US and its allies to eliminate the threat. If #2 is the case, then, by said country's inaction or active resistance, it is said country's fault for putting its' innocent citizens at risk in a conflict.
Tori Anus can cry into her mis-informed bank account. I am sure you poor college students and "activists" are hard at work making money to pad her bank account, dumb asses.

But Tori Amos SUCKS really badly. She is just a whiney little perpetually PMS spoiled little chippie. Damn, menopause is going to hit her with the vengeance of a Carolina hurricane. Every thing she sings is about as pleasant as a protest march.

Damn, how I missed the chance to interact with a flaming idiot like Heather. But I suppose she couldn't have talked. Her mouth is likely firmly implanted on Annan's nether parts by now.
World Court, my ass. Appeasement freaks.
