PLEASE FORWARD WIDELY!!!

ALL OUT TO KENT STATE THIS WEEKEND!

For the last few days, the Kent State Administration has been doing its best to shut down any sort of anti-war expression for this weekend. Despite their harassment and strong-arm tactics, we will not back down!

Kent States anti-war events are on for May 3 and 4!

Not only are we still protesting, but we need more people than ever. We need to show the administration and the city that we will not be intimidated!

Both the May 3 conference and the May 4 protest are still on.

May 4:

Come protest the endless war on this historic date in Kent. Meet at Manchester Field at 3:00 PM for a rally and march. We may not have Manchester reserved, but its a public place and we can and will still gather. See http://imagine.kent.edu/directions/kent/South.asp for directions. Manchester Field is the open area northeast of the Student Center and the Library.

We also encourage you to attend the May 4 Task Forces commemoration of the shootings which takes place on the Commons at noon. See http://dept.kent.edu/may4/ for details.

May 3:

FRAC, the Federation of Revolutionary Anarchist Collectives, is still putting on the conference Throwing a Wrench in the War Machine: Anti-Authoritarian Organizing against War, Occupation and the System that Spawns Them. It will be taking place at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Kent from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM. The UU Church is at 228 Gougler and directions can be found at http://www.kentuu.org/mapDirections.htm Special thanks to the UU for providing a space on such short notice!
