Tommy Franks Declares Democracy Dead
by thor Friday, Nov. 21, 2003 at 5:28 AM

in an interview with NewsMax, Franks stated that the constitution will NOT survive a WMD attack...guess what's coming NEXT!

People of the United States, take heed!

When General Franks declares that the Constitution is about to be nullified, and when George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are being humiliated daily for their violations of our trust and our laws, doesn't the liklihood of a WMD attack spike wildly up on the scale?

As good citizens we must demand that the CONSTITUTION of the United States and the Bill of Rights protecting all its citizens be upheld!

Anyone, INCLUDING GEORGE W. BUSH, who seeks to eliminate the power of the the Constitution and Bill of Rights, is CLEARLY and UNEQUIVOCALLY and enemy of the United States!

All I can say is this: the desparate animals who have seized the executive branch of our government are about to commit a villainy that will dwarf their own involvement in 9-11!

People of the United States, be prepared for an act of treason of unimaginable proportions. The plan of Cheney, Feith, Perle and their neo-con fascist clique of butchers, has ALWAYS been to CREATE more enemies, to TAUNT them into attacking us!

What does "bring 'em on" mean? And when enemies attack us there is always the same cry: "Al Quaida, Al Quaida." Who are these Al Quaida? Do we have any idea? Is there any evidence? The only thing we DO know, is that the United STates FUNDED Osama Bin Laden (founder of Al Quaida) to resist the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, and that the Bush Dynasty is closely, one might say incestuously, linked with the Bin Laden family. And all of these subsequent bombings? Is there any investigation done? Any evidence presented?

NO! We are just battered with propaganda day and night! Cheney and Bush hiss the same thing over and over "Al Quaida," as if that simply proves something.

What it proves is that these men in the White House are USING all acts of terror in the world to try to FOMENT fear, suspicion, and conflict! These men are evil.

The minute they are removed from power, the world will be relieved of the "Infinite War" that they claim exists!

In the meantime, they will stoop to any measure, no matter how despicable, to create a fascist state over which they can rule with impunity.

People of the United States, STOP THIS VILLAINY NOW! IMPEACHMENT AND INDICTMENT for Traitors!

Long live the CONSTITUTION, The Bill of Rights, FREEDOM, Democracy, and the honest hard-working people of the United States!

High Quality Media Manipulation
by Tom Friday, Nov. 21, 2003 at 8:34 AM

These guys are soooo good at manipulating the media. First something like this shows up in a minor publication so as not to cause a major stir (I mean, 'Cigar Aficionado'? Please.) by someone who is plausibly deniable (he's retired after all). And see how it floats. That's how all of this talk of a draft started. By the time it hits the major media, everyone has had the idea planted in their head multiple times. It'll be curious to see if this is a one-time thing or if more articles surface over time, even those debating the other side, but still planting the concept... if people are debating something, then it's under consideration... if it wasn't under consideration, Franks would be loudly denounced and the matter would be ended. Watch for it: you'll hear more and more about this, leading up to the next terrorist attack, all prior to the next election (since people seem to be on to Diebold and the election is maybe no longer a lock in their minds). Hang on to your hats, kids.

The fact that...

...this was a comment in "Cigar Aficionado" doesn't detract from the content of Gen. Franks' discussion. He is calling the situation like he sees it. He is correct on many points. The US could technically be only "a city destroyed" away from martial-law, which would turn into a way of life. The probability is very low that this could happen outright. It will occur over many years, until people are quite used to this way of life.

"Cheney and Bush hiss the same thing over and over "Al Quaida," as if that simply proves something."

Al-Qaeda blows people up day after day, as if that simply proves anything. You assholes can keep banging your drums and performing colorful street theatre, I'll trust our President to keep pursuing these terrorists all over the world.

real men don't read Newsmax
by Irving Monday, Nov. 24, 2003 at 7:31 AM

It's hard to get anything from a confusing site that mixes sensationalist headlines with ads for herbs and whatever else.

Newsmax is not high on the list of reading from real conservatives. But nice try....

All the Americans should read Thierry Meyssan's invetigations on 11-S
by Esther Friday, Nov. 28, 2003 at 5:58 PM

The book 'the big lie' is quite interesting but the Pentagate is even better. Why does the American government refuse answering some of the questions raised by Meyssan? Why were there people pooring gravels on the Pentagon's grass? What happened with the wings? Take a look at http://www.pentagate.info/sommaire-en.html and you will find many more dubious issues!!!!!

anyone interested in a rebuttal to the Pentagate article should read this. yeah, the National Review is a conservative rag, but it's a pretty convincing step by step rebuttal of a conspiracy theory.
and while i embrace the idea behind indymedia.org, this pittsburgh edition looks seriously underinformed, and quite amateurish i might add. it's pretty pathetic when you try to pass on rhetoric as real "fact". and i'm not a republican. just a guy with a brain and an hour on the internet.
