A Lesson From Mitchell Crooks

A few weeks back a horrible incident took place in Cincy. A stoned black male assulted two white police officers and in the end the black male died while being taken into custody by police. After the attack a debate began over the incident and a "gentleman" by the name of Mitchell Crooks jumped into the debate. Mitch is most famous for videotaping the assult of a 16 year old boy at the hands of an LAPD officer that made national headlines. During this recent debate a few people did some homework on Mitchell and discovered among other questionable things that Mitch has actually been making a profit off this video. The money did not go to a charity or to the boy who was abused but into Mitchell's pocket. I chose to question Mitch on this subject a number of times and never received much of a response until now. I wanted to share with everyone this deep, insightful, fact laced, pointing out where I was wrong, respectful, well written response to my questions I posted on CIMC. Wow. Thank you for enlightening me Mr. Crooks. Even though I am not conservative and I am probably younger than you, damn, you sure did teach me a thing or two about yourself, your cause, and your organization. I now fully understand your plight. People like my friend Michaelis and the people at Social Nerve, Kleveland.org, and here on Cleveland IMC who are passionate about this issue should take lessons from you on how to debate this issue clearly, thoughtfully, and respectfully. Now thanks to this insightful email people like myself, Concerned Citizen, Average Joe, Jennifer, Dana, and others have learned we are no match for your educated and deep responses to our questioning of you and your methods. All of us thank you for this wonderful Christmas gift.
