Keep the Timoney-3 Free Tour
of the Providence Puppet Posse
Feb. 27- April 4

The Providence Puppet Posse is traveling the east coast and southeast with two puppet shows and a message for everyone: We need to defend those who fight for all of our freedoms!

This tour is to support the defendants known as the Timoney-3, the last criminal case from the Republican National Convention protests of 2000.
We are particularly concerned with Camilo Viveiros who still faces first degree felony charges. (for more info see: http://www.friendsofcamilo.org)

“The Terrible Tales of Timoney” and “A Wall Is Just a Wall” are two shows that were created to expose the ongoing repression of protest and political prisoners.

Focusing on Police Commissioner John Timoney and his illegal tactics during the RNC in 2000 and Miami FTAA protests in 2003, “The Terrible Tales of Timoney” tells this important story through clever puppetry and humor.

“A Wall Is Just A Wall” depicts the stories of several political prisoners’ lives from various time periods. This show will highlight freedom movements while relating the parallel history of prisons.

Camilo's trial is set for April 5, 2004. He and the two other defendants, Darby Landy and Eric Steinberg, will stand before the same judge and jury to face Timoney and his lies.

The Providence Puppet Posses' goals are to spread the word about Camilo’s unjust charges, raise $ for Camilo's defense (4 years of lawyers fees add up), expose Timoney and help build resistance to efforts to send any of us to prison and squelch our dissent. (see: http://www.friendsofcamilo.org)
