Pictures from the peace picnic and the sit in.

Peace Picnic and sit...

The peace picnic was great and there were strong numbers, despite it pouring down rain. The food was great, thanks food not bombs and everyone else that helped to make this day work.

The sit in was a blast, dancing and singing but still keeping in mind of why we were there.

Word from the Outside
by Sara Sunday, Mar. 21, 2004 at 9:24 AM

I left Pittsburgh last summer, it is heartening to see the Left-wing community publically displaying their fury at an increasingly oppressive system.
As a member of the Pittsburgh 122, i stand with you in spirit.

undercover cops
by ts Sunday, Mar. 21, 2004 at 1:11 PM

it is good that you took the picture of the undercover cops. It seemed as most people didn't care about the undercover cops. I think when you see an undercover cop you should let as many people as possible know that the person is a cop. There was also a bigger man that had a blue fleece and orange poncho on that filmed the rally and actions at CMU. He was obviously a cop, as he was always across the street filming. I watched him outside of CMU as he panned across and filmed everyones faces that were sitting outside.

Neat

thanks a bunch, friend! The picture of the trolly stop made my day! was just wading through the usual posts that come after an event like M20. The authorities try like hell to drive a wedge. They post all sorts of stuff in an attempt to get us to hate each other. Sort of makes me sad but i know that they won't succeed.

Whats with the rainbow flag that says "PACE"? Did one of you intellektuools misspell peace, or is that an acronym for something else?
