A Candlelight Silent Vigil to honor those who have died in the war in Iraq. Sunday June 27 from 8:30 until 9:00. On the steps of Soldiers and Sailors in Oakland. No signs or speeches or march just the profound power of silence.
A group of 56 people stood in silence with candles to honor those who have died in the war in Iraq in early May on the steps of Soldiers and sailors in Oakland. We are planning another silent vigil for SUNDAY JUNE 27 from 8:30 until 9:00 PM at Soldiers and Sailors again. No signs or speeches or march...just silence for 30 minutes. For more information please contact Dick Marshall at 412 922-7782 or email at RNM44@aol.com.
The Bush administration does not want publicity about the nearly 1000 from our country who have died or the thousands of people in Iraq who have died. We want to pay tribute to them all with just our silent presence.
