They came to college to find a husband, but joined a sorority to buy friends
The full range of North American eating disorders were represented, from bulimia to anorexia to morbid obesity.
As a display of the importance of family values, a Bush twins style, drinking binge was also held to accenuate their inner beauty to the patriotic young men who were safely partying in Oakland while cheerleading from the sidelines like their hero "W" only with a smaller cocaine budget.

This young patriot came prepared in case the traditional beer goggle didn't do the trick.
He couldn't pass the military physical due to an autofellatio attempt that resulted in injury.

I hid the article. Editorial policy clearly states that articles that...
-have been posted by someone pretending to be someone else.
....are subject to hiding. In addition, the photos here are presumably copyrighted, and if they're complained about we would be forced to delete them.
Please feel free to inform the editorial list of what you feel to be inconsistently applied rules; we aren't perfect, we do the best we can.

It just seems like the editorial collective is all too willing to appease the rightwingnuts when they post copyrighted material under someone else's name.
You need only cast a cursory glance at the articles published here to figure it out.
It seems that you guys are too eager to avoid the spectre of nepotism and if something is borderline in violation of policy, but progressive or radical you'll hide it, but the hate-speech and 'jokes' of the lil' cryptofacists stand.
Although indymedia is anonymous, you imply that pseudonyms are not to be used. For example, my name is not 'old guy' although I'm sure someone out there is known only as 'old guy'.
Am I then impersonating him?

Due to a complaint, the copyrighted images on this page have been removed. A proposal to do so was sent to imc-pgh-editorial and no objections were raised.
Old guy: I don't think it's fair to expect us to serve things that could get us sued. The article was hidden out of editorial policy, the images weren't deleted until there was a specific complaint.
In the future, people who want to discuss copyrighted material are better served by linking to it and then discussing it, which last I checked, is still legal. Uploading copyrighted material, otoh, is hard to defend.
re impersonation

I think the purpose of the impersonation criterion is only to prevent someone from posting something inflammatory or libelous as if it were the words of someone else.
obviously, many people on indymedia use pseudonyms -- but pseudonyms are as legitimate as real names.
re hiding stuff we agree with more than stuff we don't -- i think it's just that some of the rightwing spammers are agressive enough about posting their junk that we don't catch all of it, especially since it's mostly in comments in pretty old threads.
