St Paul, Madison, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Univ of Michigan, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia. Corporate media ignored this completely here in Milwaukee, so I'm tucking it in here for history to see.

Milwaukee was stop three of the 10-city non-partisan
Rock 'n Roll tour mainly devoted to voter registration.
MKE's lineup was scheduled to be Blue Background, Planet
Melvin, Truth in Fiction and Bascom Hill; but a couple
no-shows later it turned out to be The Strangers, Truth
in Fiction, Marco Capelli and Bascom Hill.
Turn out was a small but very warm crowd. Announcement
of Bascom Hill's last song, a Magic Carpet Ride cover
caused a spontaneous breakout of frenetic dancing from
the first couple rows that didn't really end until three
or four encores later. Yes I lost count because I got
busied on the dance floor too.
Here's what I wrote in my journal after Bascom Hill played.
Fun sound. They're much better live than their recorded
sound. If I had to pick out influences I'd say Black Crowes
meet Dave Matthews with better acoustic guitar solos.
Next Choozapalooza shows will be Grand Rapids, MI and
Ann Arbor, MI next weekend. See the rest of the tour
