Reform Party of PA endorses Marakay Rogers

Marakay Rogers, the Green Party candidate for Attorney General of Pennsylvania, was endorsed as the Attorney General candidate of the Reform Party of Pennsylvania at its state committee meeting on October 9,2004.

This is the first time a Green Party statewide candidate has been the endorsee of another political party as well as the nominee of the state Green Party.

Rogers, who was on a campaign tour of the state with other Green candidates at the time, was notified of the unanimous decision by e-mail while on her campaign swing through Pittsburgh, Erie, and three other cities. "It's an honor to be recognized by the Reform Party," Rogers said. "The Reform Party stands for honest government, and I'm gratified that they believe I'll represent that as Attorney General."

A York resident and originally a Franklin County resident, Rogers practices criminal law, family law, and juvenile law in York County. She is co-chair of the Green Party of York County and a member of several national Green Party caucuses and committees.
