NOW THAT THE TRIB PM IS A FREE WILL IT BE USED AS A REPUBLICAN FREE PRESS FOR BUSH OVER THE NEXT 2 WEEKS?
I have always had a personal disdain for the Tribune Review. Why? On August 4th, 2000 I attended the George Bush's Campaign Rally at Station Square to protest and i did get a Nader sign in front of Bush and he said to the beautiful people, "The Strength of this campaign is not in the heart(Pause)not in the Halls of Government, but in the hearts and souls of you people right here." He was unconsciously trying to tell the truth.
Here's my opinion. With the election only 16 days away, I must say that I am concerned as to why the Tribune Review is now giving away the Trib PM for Free. I do not trust the Trib's media values. I feel that they way that IMC servers have been compromised, certain powers are scaring the public from speaking their hearts and truths. While then preying on those unable to communicate to believe manipulated industrial propoganda.
How many other cities have a free paper run by Republicans (The Scaiffe Family)?

The Wasington Times in DC isn't free, but it is an ultra right wing daily morning newspaper that sells for 25 cents -- virtually free. It is pretty funny that people are sometimes tricked into taking it seriously given its legitimate-sounding name.
Sun Myung Moon and his Unification Church cult have lost more than 1 billion dollars (according to the New Yorker) subsidizing their propaganda outlet. They're literally "On a mission from God."

Without a doubt, Scaife and his big money buddies are willing to do the same sort of thing to push their agenda.

Many US cities have an right-wing afternoon tabloid priced to sell.
Hell, NYC is blessed with both the Post and the Daily News.

Have you LOOKED at the Trib PM? That thing's about as subversive as kitty litter, and it serves about the same purpose. I imagine they're giving it away for free simply as a marketing ploy, because no one reads it now.
Mostly it's stories taken from wire services and knuckle-dragging sports commentary. I almost wish it WAS a right-wing screed, because that would make more interesting reading. As it is, there are much creepier things to worry about. Like that Sinclair guy who never blinks on Channel 53's news.
