These people claimed to be members of the church, and got on the steps. They were told to not make noise, but proceeded to bang on their drums anyway.

correction regarding rally
by someone from pog Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 at 5:12 AM

It's true the cops stopped the rally from taking place initially, not just on the church steps but anywhere we tried to go. The cop said he wanted everyone to disperse and threatened to arrest everyone for disorderly conduct, blocking the sidewalk, and making noise. Needless to say people ignored himj. There were supposed to be speakers from code pink, black voices for peace, and other local groups. Eventually there was a mini-rally underneath the library where the radical cheerleaders DID perform, and 2 speakers spoke.

Can you post pictures of the rally that protested the innocent people being beheaded by the Fallujah terrorists? Oh, there wasn't one?

"i"
the point of a protest like this one is to show opposition among the people to an action being carried out by the government, where otherwise that opposition might not have an effective means of expression. Given that we can assume that most people, on left and right, in this country "oppose" the beheadings of hostages and that a consensus already exists with respect to condemning and being abhorred by such actions, I'm not totally sure what the point of "protest" would be and how it might actually impact the hostages...
What's more, the Fallujah 'operation' only sheds a darker shadow over the fate of current hostages and increases the probability of there being many more in the future.

That being said, why don't *you* organize one?

"innocent people being beheaded by the Fallujah terrorists"

Let's see. There were no beheadings until after hundreds of men, women, and children were tortured, some tortured to death, at Abu Ghraib. The Iraqis and the world can see who the oppressor is here. And it's clear to the world who is struggling against an occupation army.

Viva Fallujah!

Good luck to the people of Iraq in liberating their country from its foreign terrorist occupiers.

You hit the nail on the head "I".
The Left supports beheadings and mass murders by Muslims.
It's the Romance of "resistance"...

Iraq's Freedom Fighters????
by Arab Patriot Saturday, Dec. 04, 2004 at 8:38 AM

Is that a sick joke? whose freedom do they fight for? Not that of hte Iraqi people, for they are murdering the Iraqi people at a greater rate than they are murdering coalition forces.

Fallujah was the hell hole from which these sick terrorists grow. May Allah curse them for their desecration of his Earth and his faithful. Don't tread on them is right. Kill them, grind their bones into dust, and piss on their graves.

Viva a free Iraq. Free from Arab despots and terrorist who seek only to rape the land, the people and the religion.
