Norm Coleman alleges ex-Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein was allowed to profit from the UN-backed scheme and that Mr Annan is ultimately responsible.
Sen. Coleman,
Since you have stepped up to be the voice of Justice against Kofi Annan and the UN, I will speak up for the thousands if not millions who seek Justice Against Dick Cheney and Halliburton.
The organizational involvement of these two men is very similar and I ask you to notice the parrallels.
While Vice President Cheney was CEO of Halliburton, his company was bribing Nigerian Officials, via subsidiaries, to ensure the development and profits of Halliburton with a contract for Oil Pipeline development. Also, while Mr. Cheney has been in Office, Halliburton has overcharged both you and me, our taxes dollars were wasted for their profit when it could have been supporting our troops. Is Mr Cheney to Blame, or is Halliburton? Is Mr. Annan to blame, or is the UN?
Or maybe it's the omnicient US and the inability to look at the facts and weigh them instinctually through trust and action. We need to reinvent the US business community to act with integrity so that it does not tarnish the Santicty of The United States Government. As well all global sovereignities and beings need to be able to heal the vitality of human culutre and the mutual relationships we engage in. Oterhwise we are doomed to fail as a leader.
I heard a statement earlier this morning in an interviw with author and filmmaker James Redfield. He is the author of the popular Celestine Propehcy. This was a quote from the Secrets of Shambala, " The only reason that a negative event will happen is because you missed a synchronistic opportunity to avoid it." Do not avoid this opportunity.
