Walmart ignorance and attitude with customers
My trip to wallymart was most typical, so I thought. Figured while in the store I would check out tires. You know they have everything!! Upon asking for my tire size in specific type, I was told they dont carry it but would sell another brand but it was well over $10 more. So I then decided to go with a slightly larger size, still cheaper in my brand of choice. Was so informed I couldnt put it on as it was store policy not to do so. Even though inspection/state laws do allow it. Where does wallymart get off making a rule as such? Its not like I was mixing sizes on the same axle. SO, by then, miffed I went back to the tire section, picked up a flier and said " I can get a better deal at a tire place for the tires I wanted." The employee and courtesy desk appeared to care less. Imagine that. Now, During my last time in a wallymart checkout, I was still stewing and ranted to the nice cashier about it. She told me that she in fact had the same problem with them. Makes me want to go back....NOT!
But on a good note, after all the car parts, grocery, tire, computer stores, etc, all go out of business, at least wallymart will be there for us. With much higher prices by then.
Stand up for yourself and the little business or none of us will have anything. Is the cheapest really the best??

I think this is a great article and typical of how Wal-Mart works. People need to ask themselves when they shop there, in the long run, are they really getting a bargain?
