Morning commuters were greeting by various anti-war banners marking the upcoming two year anniversary of the US occupation of Iraq. This action was a combined effort of members of POG (Pittsburgh Organizing Group) and Code Pink. Anti-war slogans are visible on many Pittsburgh overpasses and bridges.

A Big PINK Thanks You to all POG members who made the Friday Banner drop a success. Think about making the Codepink/POG Drop an annual event. See ya in the streets. Francine

annual event?

Hmmm...hopefully it won't have to be an annual event, since the war will be over by then if we step it up a bit. Also...maybe having Iraq on one of the banners might be good. "Women say pull out" is kind of ambiguous...
