Cindy Sheehan and the Bring Them Home Now Tour comes to Pittsburgh

cindyPlease Join Cindy Sheehan and the Bring Them Home Now Tour in Pittsburgh this Sunday for a unique memorial to the soldiers and the victims of the Iraq War.

On September 11-13, Cindy Sheehan and the Bring Them Home Now Tour will stop in Pittsburgh en route to Washington DC for the September 24th march and rally. See below for a complete schedule of events and how you can help.

The main event is this Sunday. Starting at 4:30pm, there will be a re-creation of Camp Casey at Flagstaff Hill (Schenley Park, Oakland). It is named "Camp Neil" in honor of Lt. Neil Anthony Santoriello, Jr., of Pittsburgh, who died in Iraq at age 24. Neil’s mother, Diane Davis Santoriello, will be present along with Cindy Sheehan and other members of Gold Star Families for Peace, as well as members of Military Families Speak Out, Iraq Veterans Against the War and Veterans for Peace.  In addition to the Tour's speakers, there will be live music and spoken word performances. Please join us to speak out about the horrors of the Iraqi war and to have a pot-luck dinner before Cindy Sheehan, Diane Santoriello and other members of the Tour lead us on a Candlelight March from Flagstaff Hill to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial in Oakland at 7pm.

what a faker

She's nothing but a bullshit artist. How can she be taken seriously when she's even now acting like some sort of authority on the crock of "global warming", for chrissakes?

She cared more about her publicity than about the victims of the hurricanes. What a self absorbed pig.

I have known cindy for ten years now and I can truth fully say that she has never been mentaly stable. cindy has been into drugs since the 70'S the typical burn out case. on and off welfare. now seeing a way to a quick buck, she is exploiting her sons death for fame and money

cindy why did your son do this to me?

so you won't answer?
by curious Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005 at 2:20 PM

So you're going to evade a simple question? You'd think an answer would bolster your credibility. Perhaps you don't have any.

how can anybody follow that woman?
by puzzled Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005 at 2:41 PM

After her cold blooded posting on Kos that the hurricane was only "a little wind" and "a little rain", while people were losing everything they had, and some their very lives, she revealed her true heart.

She's not speaking out for her son at all, and never was. She's nothing but a camera whore.

Casey was a credit to the service. a person who you could count on. how he got that way being raised by a crazy woman like that is astounding. Casey served his country and died a hero. it's too bad he has such a fool of a mother

that's right
by that's right! Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 at 11:36 AM

What the soap fearing Sheehan groupies don't seem to understand is that he enlisted on his own, and RE-upped too. His "mother" never seems to talk of that, does she?

Many wonder just what he had to grow up with, considering her actions today. Must've been hell.

it's a MAN, baby!

unjust war
by jo Sunday, Nov. 06, 2005 at 1:52 AM

She owes peace equal disarmament, that freedom does not happen fully until the war machine and its manufactury is scrapped and non-fossil fuels is put in place of coal, gas, oil, and atomic energy. In fact the first industrial revolution has been a polluting war against the livability of the plants animals, and peoples of this planet. She owes no to the soldiers of the polluters of the planet. Viva socialism, Viva liberation.

The details of Massey's stories changed repeatedly.
