Oliver North protested while pushing his new book, "Assassins" in Harrisburg.

Local protesters greeted Oliver North at Borders Books in Harrisburg. Many fans did not even seem to know what the Iran-Contra Scandal was. Local protesters remembered and stood right behind him as he signed books. North was found guilty of felony charges which were later over-turned on appeal. He was alleged to have helped Reagan and Bush Sr. defeat Jimmy Carter. Evidence was shown that he helped sell illegal drugs to finance the Contras in Nicaragua, while assuring that hostages would be held past the US presidential election. This essential piece of history is seeming less and less remembered by the mass media. these are, in fact, crimes of the highest degree.
