U-lock justice against McDonalds

Stink Bombs and U-locks now there is an april fools.

Around 2:30pm today (April 1st) in the heart of Oakland the Forbes Ave McDonalds experienced economic sabatoge in the form of a stink bomb attack inside and U-lock on the main entrance doors. No one was injured but customers and employess had to be evactuated through the roof and down the rear fire escape. Police and Fire quickly responded. No one was arrested and the police have no leads but suspect anarchists were to be blame.

Business returned to the usual serving of unhealthy food about an hour later.

That stinks. I hope no one had asthma.

Funny story that reminds me of the time that I went to a graveyard to pray for peace on April Fools Day of 03 or 04. I lite a sage bundle @ Chief Red Pole's Grave Downtown on 6th Avenue to clarify my prayers. I then drove off to 1877 to smudge the place for purity. Since no one was there I went over to the Thomas Merton Center.

Turns out that I scared an elderly volunteer at the Thrift store and the firemen were called. The concerned citizen had been through a housefire before and I shocked them to tears.

What makes this even more strange is that I was walking down Forbes today at around 2:25. Lone Catalysts had just ended a good set at the Bigelow Bash. Guess I missed all the excitement.
