Recent video of Jessie Macbeth, who claims to be be a veteran of the Iraq War and a Ranger, found to be a lie.

Recent video of a person who claims to be Jesse or Jessie Macbeth has been conclusively shown by many Rangers, and the Special Operations Command to be a fraud. Jesse Macbeth claims during interviews to be a Ranger who personally killed two hundred civilians in Fallujah during a time period the unit he claims membership in, the 3rd Ranger Battalion, was not in Iraq. He further claims that this is a common occurance, in an apparent attempt to support through propoganda the insurgency in Iraq to the detriment of troops currently stationed there.

Many current and former Rangers noted multiple problems with his uniform and his story, including but not limited to: improbable training, inconsistent unit assignments, awards not possible to have been recieved, inconsistent time periods of action against known records, and rank inconsistent with claimed duties and training.

This recent fraud casts doubt on the veracity of many organizations he has been associated with including but not limited to: indymedia.org, socialistalernative.org, and Iraq Veterans Against the War, who are all distancing themselves from Jesse now that his damaging lie has been revealed.
