Voices for Animals Protests Cruelty to Canada Geese in Allegheny County

Over 25 people came out yesterday (July 22nd) to our peaceful protest at Dan Onorato's church to protest his order to have 272 Canada geese in North Park rounded up and killed. With signs proclaiming Hey Onorato! Thou Shall Not Kill and Hey Onorato! Thou Shall Not Bear False Witness, and a banner stating Stop The Killing-Let Canada Geese Live, we let Dan Onorato's fellow parishioners know about Onorato's moral hypocrisy and his deceitful and highly unethical behavior.

Despite a firm public commitment to Voices For Animals, the media, and individual members of the public, Allegheny County broke their promise to peacefully handle human/goose conflict in North Park in a humane, non-lethal manner. Dan Onorato is chiefly responsible for the immense suffering and untimely deaths of the North Park geese. Furthermore, he lied to Allegheny County residents and betrayed the public's trust.

Apparently when not working hard at destroying Pittsburgh's public transit, Onorato is busy brutalizing wildlife. Why is this guy in office? He seems like a real scumbag.
