Snitches get Executed in Afghanistan
by anonymous Tuesday, Sep. 01, 2009 at 6:47 PM

Last year, two men in Afghanistan provided intelligence to US forces that led to a deadly missile strike aimed at the Taliban. The Taliban caught them, took them to Pakistan, and slit their snitching throats in public before a jeering crowd armed with rifles.

This video, wrapped in Japanese TV coverage, shows most of the execution.

This video, anchored in English, gives the reasons for the execution.

Due to the real risk of having their throats cut or even being beheaded, few in Afghanistan will even think about giving intelligence to American authorities or their puppets.
