Well, of course, try and divert the subject. Always an easy tactic. Bring in totally irrelevent statements. The above protesters are obviously not in uniform, because they're against the war. That's pretty easy to understand, right?
But the Bush girls are campaigning for the man who started and supports this war and they're of military age. So the question is relevent....if they're for the war, how come they're not fighting in it themselves? Who do they expect to fight, and die in the wars that they support, if not themselves?
It's so similiar to almost everyone who supported this war, the expectation that someone else would do the dying. It's like all those nerdy pro-war groups on campus, those pimply-faced young men who did all they could to push for this war (except, of course, to enlist) and expect YOU or YOU'RE children to do the fighting (and dying), while they go to becoming dentists, stock-brokers, or whatever else they have in mind.

I dunno, could it be that they are direct beneficiaries of the Nazi backing/drug smuggling/Taliban loving Bush fortune?

I say those two anti-war sirens are terrorist sympathizers, and need to be sent to Gitmo.
How's that, Leftists? Let's see how long my comment stays posted.

I thought those were Bush girls, not Kennedys. If my assumption is in error, I apologize. All those New England (Dubya's no Texan) bluebloods are inbred anyway.
I think your false assumption is that Democrats are sacred here, and they aren't try moveon.org.
Besides, the Kerry girls are way foxier, just not the 12 margarita, sure things that the Bush girls are.

What uniform do you think they should be in? I assume you think they should be in some military uniform since the post was signed Lyndie England. Why should these young women be forced to serve in the military when others are not? Last I checked, our armed services were a volunteer organization. Ms England was not forced to join the military – she chose to join. Then she chose to disgrace her uniform and her country. I am not rich nor am I a member of the elite, but my daughter looked just as nice her prom dress and as a bridesmaid for her sister’s wedding. Why should the Bush’s daughters not be allowed to dress in an evening gown for a special occasion?
Whoever the real poster of the original message is – where is your uniform? Before you begin to belittle others, make sure your own house is clean. Because this country has had few military conflicts over the past few decades, many people joined the armed forces as a way to get a free college education and other government benefits for the rest of their lives. They knew they might be called to duty someday, but the odds were in their favor and there was little risk of seeing combat, if you picked the right area and especially if you were a member of the reserves. The time has come once again for those who volunteered to defend this nation step up and give their service and no one is being forced to serve. So why should the Bush’s daughters be forced into the military? Are you going to force your children to join up and put on a uniform?
After 8 long years, we regained a President in the White House who has the courage to stand up to terrorists, to defend our country and way of life and not cave in to worrying about how popular he is at home or abroad.
God Bless America, Our Troops and the President of the USA!!

There's undeniably an economic draft. How else would Pvt. England leave the shitty 'holler' in WV where she came from and get money for college?
Or the brave Jessica Lynch?
Or the poor kid from the ghetto/barrio?
Do the fucking math.
Although the all-volunteer military would refuse the Bush girls on the grounds of their problems with substances.
They couldn't refuse urine testing like their father did. I mean refusing a "routine medical exam".

War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.
I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag.
I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.
There isn't a trick in the racketeering bag that the military gang is blind to. It has its "finger men" to point out enemies, its "muscle men" to destroy enemies, its "brain men" to plan war preparations, and a "Big Boss" Super-Nationalistic-Capitalism.
It may seem odd for me, a military man to adopt such a comparison. Truthfulness compels me to. I spent thirty- three years and four months in active military service as a member of this country's most agile military force, the Marine Corps. I served in all commissioned ranks from Second Lieutenant to Major-General. And during that period, I spent most of my time being a high class muscle- man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.
I suspected I was just part of a racket at the time. Now I am sure of it. Like all the members of the military profession, I never had a thought of my own until I left the service. My mental faculties remained in suspended animation while I obeyed the orders of higher-ups. This is typical with everyone in the military service.
I helped make Mexico, especially Tampico, safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefits of Wall Street. The record of racketeering is long. I helped purify Nicaragua for the international banking house of Brown Brothers in 1909-1912 (where have I heard that name before?). I brought light to the Dominican Republic for American sugar interests in 1916. In China I helped to see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested.
During those years, I had, as the boys in the back room would say, a swell racket. Looking back on it, I feel that I could have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.

Wow!! This whole country is doomed because conservatives just can't accept any sort of difference of opinion. Canada is looking better and better every day (and I am sure some of you righties just say "Yeah, leave, see if we care"). It seems that all these boards a filled with trash talking, what a great way for undereducated americans to get stuff off their chest...be proud...wait, go read a book, take a walk, try seeing something from someone else's point of view. Americans just really seem hateful sometimes and that is down right sad.
